  • 8 inch round cake pan
  • Fork

  • 1 tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup salted creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line the cake pan with parchment paper and grease the sides with butter or coconut oil.
  • Mash two of the bananas with a fork. Mix in the peanut butter and eggs.
  • Sift the baking soda and baking powder into the almond meal. Then combine with the wet ingredients.
  • Pour the batter into a cake pan. Slice the third banana lengthwise and press the slices into the top of the batter.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes. The banana peanut butter bread is done when it is golden on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
